Hearts of Oak Ivorian defender Robin Gnagne has described last weekend as his best ever.
The player after celebrating a slim 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko last Saturday afternoon at the Baba Yara stadium joined the thousands of Ivorian supporters to cheer the Elephants to victory on Sunday as they won the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
“I don’t know which one to celebrate, because both victories mean a lot to me. This has been the best weekend of my life and I will give anything to relive it again”, Robin Gnagne told sportscrusader.com.
According to him, the circumstances leading to both victories, makes the celebration a joyous one.
“Before we went to Kumasi, nobody gave us a chance to beat Kotoko and our supporters gave up on us before the match but we managed to beat them to pick all three points.”
The same thing happened in our game against Black Stars. We were 2-0 down in the penalty shootout, but we managed to get back to win the game and I must say I am the happiest man alive”, he added.
