Tight race for premiership qualification

Fetteh Feyenoord edged closer to securing a qualification ticket to the Ghana Premier League by beating Gold Stars 2-1 on Wednesday to head zone II playoffs. The School Boys are now on top of the table with six points and need a draw against Dunkwa United in their final match to qualify.

Dunkwa FC, who lost their opener 4-2 to Gold Stars in Accra last Friday, revived their campaign with a 4-2 win against eliminated Eleven Wise.

In zone III, Great Olympics recorded a second straight win after a slim 1-0 win over Okwahu United.

The capital-based side have six points and joint leaders with Tema Youth who posted a 3-0 win over Istanbul FC.

The final match between Olympics and Tema Youth will determine who will qualify from the zone.
