Juventus midfielder Stephen Appiah has targeted a move to The Premiership, with Tottenham the latest side to be interested.
The African midfielder seems to be the man to make way following the ?13.7 million arrival of Patrick Vieira at the Serie A champions.
Juve have confirmed that Ghana international Appiah is likely to move on this summer, and he says he wants to move to England.
Middlesbrough, Everton and Birmingham have all been interested in the powerful midfield man, and now Tottenham have also joined the hunt.
Appiah says that the arrival of Vieira looks to have sealed his departure from Fabio Capello's side.
"Vieira is a good buy for Juve and I would have loved to play alongside him, but I have to think about my own career," said Appiah.
"The Premiership is the league to be in right now and I think it will be good for my career as I'm in the best shape and I want to win more trophies.
"I want to play week-in, week-out and be in top shape if we [Ghana] qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
"I hear Tottenham are the latest side to be interested in me and playing in London would be great, but let's wait and see."
Appiah is thought to want to play European football, which would see both Boro and Everton in the driving seat for the 24-year-old.
Appiah is due to sit down with general manager Luciano Moggi to sort out his future in the coming days, but the expensive arrival of Vieira means he is likely to leave this summer.
