Former Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure has spoken of his strong desire of rejoining the Ghanaian champions.
Toure, who is currently a free agent, left the Kumasi-based side in 2012 after an impressive campaign in the 2011 Ghana Premier League.
But the Ivory Coast-based player is relishing a return to the Porcupine Warriors.
“I miss Kotoko so much and will easily join them if they want me," Toure told Accra based Asempa FM. "When you play somewhere and everybody likes you, you would always want to make a return."
He added: "I enjoyed my stay there and been monitoring them since l left. I know they have good players and a great coach [Didi Dramani]."
Toure also went ahead to reveal that he had talks with Hearts of Oak last season but the deal fell through.
“They contacted me and we spoke at length, but it just didn’t work out.”
The player is currently training with Ivorian side Asec Mimosas.
