  • July 31 -- Liverpool and Arsenal may step up their interest in Marseille forward Andre Ayew after the club's coach refused to consider Ayew's request to play striker. Ayew and Marseille coach Elie Baup have been involved in several bust-ups regarding the Ghanaian's most effective playing position. (Daily Express)

  • July 31 -- Parma have officially signed Afriyie Acquah from Hoffenheim. The Ducali announced the news this evening with an official statement on their club website. Acquah returns to the Stadio Tardini on loan from Hoffenheim with an option to buy at the end of the season.
    It is a surprise move, as Parma only sold the 21-year-old to Hoffenheim a year ago for €2.5m

  • July 30 -- Inter are ready to make an offer that includes one of the Nerazzurri’s heralded youngsters - Alfred Duncan - in a bid to land Bologna midfielder Saphir Taider. Inter are willing to offer one of Ibrahima Mbaye, Alfred Duncan or Rene Krhin (who is co-owned by the Rossoblu) along with €5 million in a bid to sign the former Grenoble player.(Sportitalia)

  • Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have agreed an $800,000 bid from Italian Serie A side Udinese for Ghana youth international Clifford Aboagye. The 18-year-old has also agreed terms with the Udine-based side and will ink a long-term contract which is expected to be five years.

  • July 29 -- Inter midfielder Alfred Duncan could return to Livorno or join Sunderland, but he said “on Wednesday you’ll have all the answers.”
    The 20-year-old Ghana international is owned by Inter, but spent last season impressing on loan at Livorno, earning their promotion from Serie B. According to the Daily Star, Sunderland have renewed their attempts to swoop for Duncan, having previously offered around €10m for the talent.

  • Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade are set to make an official offer for striker Prince Tagoe who is a free agent. The 26-year-old has left Turkish club Bursaspor on mutual consent and he is on the market looking for a new club. Tagoe was paid 500,000 Euros by the Turkish side.

  • Striker Samad Oppong is close to signing for Cypriot top-flight side side Ethnikos Achnas, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal. The 25 year-old has been training with the Achniotes the past three weeks and said to have convinced head coach Nikos Kolompourdas.

  • Manchester-based Premier League rivals United and City are reported to have inquired about the availability of Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah. According to Tuttosport newspaper, the English Premier League giants approached Juventus but they were rejected immediately. Juventus coach Antonio Conto is not ready to sell his highly-rated midfielder who hugely impressed in an unusual left-back role.

  • Spanish La Liga side Malaga have been linked with goalkeeper Razak Brimah. The CD Guadalajara glovesman sparked controversy when he posted on his official Twitter page that he was looking for a house to buy in Malaga. Brimah will be signed as a back-up for Cameroon goalkeeper Kameni

  • July 10 -- Spanish side Espanyol have confirmed that they have rejected a €4.5 million (£3.9m) offer from an unnamed European club for Wakaso Mubarak.   • Swansea City are going to face stiff competition from Russian duo Anzhi Makhachkala and Rubin Kazan if they are to sign coveted Espanyol winger Wakaso Mubarak.
