Trouble Brews In Kotoko

Trouble seems to be brewing in the camp of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko following allegations being levelled against the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Mensah by a member of the board, Alhaji Mahama.

Alhaji Mahama is alleged to have told a section of the club’s supporters that the Herbert Mensah and some government officials have been defrauding the club of its gate proceeds.

He is also alleged to have said that the Board has instituted investigations into the previous administration headed by Herbert Mensah.

But the Chairman of the Board, P.V. Obeng is reportedly not aware of the said investigation.

The accusations levelled against the CEO could destabilize the club and dash its hopes in the coming season if steps are not taken to resolve it amicably.

Mr P.V. Obeng is however expected to arbitrate and find lasting solutions to the growing tension.
