The Ghana Football Association has released a 28-man list to commence preparations ahead of the national under-20 male football team’s final qualifying encounter for the 2015 African Youth Championship.
The squad, predominantly consisting of the team that defeated Sierra Leone 4-1 on aggregate in the previous qualifying round, is expected to assemble at the team’s camp base at the Jerfkings Palace Hotel at Adenta by 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 15.
Ghana plays Gabon over two legs in August to determine who joins six other countries together with the host, Senegal, for the biennial competition which comes off from 8th – 22nd March, 2015.
All four semi-finalists from the African event qualify automatically for the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand which rolls from May 30 – June 20.
