Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has put two locally based players on standby ahead of the friendlies against England and the Congo later this month.
The two are Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey and Asante Kotoko centre-back Awal Mohammed, according to Ghanasoccernet.
Clottey was part of the squad that played Sudan in September in a 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier. He is the Ghana Premier League joint second top scorer with eight goals from 21 matches.
Coach Stevanovic revealed a 24-man squad on Monday recalling Daniel Opare of Standard Liege and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sammy Adjei.
The four-time African champions face Congo in Brazzaville on March 27 and would travel to England for an international friendly against the Three Lions two days after.
