Cape Coast, Aug. 15, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers played a spectacular game to hold Premier League side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a pulsating 2-2 draw in their friendly match played at the Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast at the week-end.
After Referee Charles Nyarko signaled the two sides into action it was Vipers, the Premier League campaigners who conceded an early goal in the 15th minute when Kotoko's Kwame Boateng scored the opener in a goalmouth scramble.
Back from the recess, Vipers came up strongly and scored the equalizer in the 75th minute through Magnus Duncan and went ahead to increase their goal tally to two through a spot kick taken by Eric Osei in the 80th minute.
Kotoko hit back and following series of attacks into Vipers' vital area the Porcupine Warriors also earned a penalty for David Ofei to slot home to bring the final scores to 2-2.
