Cape Coast, Nov. 13, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers played a highly spirited game to beat Odupon Heroes 3-0 in their Division Two League match played at Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Saturday. Vipers took control of the match form the blast of the whistle and ahead to score the opener in the 25th minute through inside right, Joseph Adade.
Odupong Heroes forced the tide in their favour in the 30th minute and made frantic efforts to equalize but the able defence of Vipers kept them in check.
Vipers who were determined to carry the day once again appeared unto the picture and netted two more goals through their playmaker, Francis Yankey in the 38th minute and outside left, Frank Mensah, in the 41st minute.
Odupong Heroes resumed the second with determination to reduce the tally and dictated the pace for greater part of the game but erratic shootings up fron denied them from earning even a consolation gaol till the final whistle.
