Cape Coast, May 22, GNA - The management of Cape Coast Venomous Vipers have threatened to institute court action against Sekondi Hasaacas F/C for breach of contract.
Mr Kweku Tandoh, Chairman of the Club told a Press conference at Cape Coast on Friday that Anthony Annan, a player of Vipers was transferred to Hasaacas under an agreement that any future transfer of the player to any club Vipers shall be entitled to 30 percent of the subsequent transfer fee.
Mr Tandoh said Hasaacas after subsequently transferring Annan to Accra Hearts of Oak has 'stubbornly' refused to honour the agreement upon persistent demands.
He warned that if Hasaacas fail to honour the agreement in a week's time the Club will be compelled to take court action against them. In another development, Mr Tandoh said Hasaacas also failed to pay an agreed fee in respect of Eric Owusu, also a player of Vipers who was transferred to Hasaacas at the beginning of 2005 league season.
