Vorsah's Bayern move hanging by thread

Ghana under-23 defender Isaac Vorsah's proposed move to German giants Bayern Munich is hanging by a thread because of injury.

The 19-year-old has excelled in his unusual defensive midfield position for his German second division side TSG Hoffenheim so far this season.

His good performance has attracted interest from top German sides including Bayern Munich.

But the former Asante Kotoko ace has been ruled out of action for six months after undergoing an operation this week.

He tore knee ligaments during Saturday's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Greuther Furth.

The injury looks to have cooled interest from the German giants but Vorsah is confident of a swift return to revive interest.

"It is very sad that at this time that I am playing so well and top clubs looking at me this injury comes in to interrupt my play," Vorsah told Ghanasoccernet.com .

"I am confident that I will regain the form that has won me so much praise here at Hoffenheim and I know the top clubs will maintain interest in me. "

Hoffenheim is the richest club in the German second division and they are currently eighth in the table.
