The Justice Senyo Presidential Commission of Inquiry has announced that it will conclude its public sitting next week.
The body which was set up by president John Dramani Mahama, to investigate Ghana’s participation in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will from Tuesday to Thursday, hear the last batch of witnesses to bring an end to their work. Justice Dzamefe, Chairman of the Commission, on Thursday, announced to the public the decision to conclude their work next week.
The coming week is expected to see the likes of Moses Parker, Jackie Appiah and organisations such as the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), making appearance.
The commission has so far heard testimonies from members of the 2014 World Cup Planning Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and other stakeholders.
It is however expected to complete its work by the end of November and thereafter submit their report to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to be forwarded to the seat of government.
The Commission has so far provided some startling revelations on Ghana’s participation at the World Cup.
