Ghana international Wakaso Mubarak flourished on his return to the Las Palmas first team squad and played full throttle in Los Amarillos eased relegation fears with a surprising 1-0 win at Eibar on Friday.
Wakaso, who returned to the Amarillos squad for the game, was the first to send a strong signal of intent from the host.
The 25-year-old drew a low save out of Asier Riesgo in the 20th-minute then Aythami heading just wide from Jonathan Viera's corner.
Wakaso missed the 2-1 loss against Barcelona with a suspension but was returned to the starting line-up at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa by manager Quique Setién and he made major contributions to the game for the win.
