Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris is ready to contribute to the building of a new Mosque in Trabzon.
The Ghanaian forward, who plays for Trabzonspor, is one of many Muslims in his club and is ready to help put up a new place of worship.
“I came to Turkey as a Muslim country. It is a great idea to help build a Mosque,” Waris told Sabah.
Waris frequently visits the ongoing construction of the mosque to contribute and is looking forward to its completion.
“This project is also very nice and a sample application, I am looking forward to the completion of the Mosque construction.”
Waris joined Trabzonspor from Spartak Moscow in the summer and has scored twice for the club.
