Footy-ghana.com understands that Wassaman United will let goalkeeper Stephen Ahorlu go at the end of the season.
According to our sources, Ahorlu’s services are being dispensed with because he has conceded many poor goals since he joined the team at the start of the second round of the Glo Premier League.
Ahorlu, who was one of Ghana’s three goalkeepers at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, went to Israel on loan from Heart of Lions, but a poor spell there led to his return to Ghana, where he joined Medeama SC.
After helping Medeama Sc to second place in the inaugural G8 preseason tournament, a horrific run of form saw him dropped after three games in the Glo Premier League and that led to his loan move to Wassaman United at the end of the first round.
Ahorlu will thus become a free agent at the end of the season.
