Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama admits a difficult match in their week-25 Ghana Premier League tie against Medeama SC on Wednesday, but said the team will be fighting hard to pick the three points at stake.
Soulama, who is also the safest pair of hands for the Burkina Faso national team says the team has turn their attention to Wednesday match after playing Hearts and will give all their best to win against Medeama in order to brighten their chances of retaining their league crown won last season with five matches to end the league.
“We are playing Medeama on Wednesday, which will be a tough match, so we are going to fight very hard to earn the three points,” the 29-year-old told Goal Ghana.
Asante Kotoko played out a pulsating 1-1 draw game in their Super Clash with fierce rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors go into the game against the Mauves and Yellows one point behind league leaders Berekum Chelsea and also level on points with their Wednesday opponents, who surprisingly lost 2-1 at home to Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
