We need more work on goal scoring – Amissah

Hasaacas head coach Kobina Amissah says the team would have to work harder on goal scoring in training.

Speaking after his side lost 0 -1 to Aduana Stars on Sunday in Sekondi, Amissah noted that his charges need to be encouraged because the team attacks well, but goal scoring still remains a headache.

“There is more work for me to do because we have to start scoring goals. We have to encourage the boys because they did all the attacking and possession but goal scoring is still a headache for me.”

Amissah noted that the team worked hard in training with specific reference to goal scoring, adding that Aduana Stars played a defensive game, making it difficult to score goals, even though chances were wasted.

“This week we worked hard in training on our attacking in terms of goal scoring. We did all we can, but when you play with a team that is in the defensive third and they don’t want to come out, putting the ball in the net becomes difficult. I don’t know why we created so many chances and we couldn’t score.”
