Yahaya Mohammed secures vital equalizer for Ittihad

Ghana attacking midfielder Yahaya Mohammed scored a vital equalizer to help Al Ittihad Tripoli secure a 1-1 away draw at Asec Mimosas in the CAF Confederation Cup in Abidjan on Sunday.

The 27-year-old restored parity for his club in the 79th minute, exactly 20 minutes after coming off the bench.

The former Asante Kotoko player was brought on in the 59th minute as a replacement for Hamed Mohammed Al Meghasi.

Yahaya and his Ittihad teammates will head to Tripoli, where they will host Asec in the reverse encounter on the weekend of April 3-5.
