Zico grateful to all

Mr. Kingsley Osei Bonsu, aka Lord Zico has expressed his profound appreciation to all those who supported him when Space FC was engaged in a crucial 2nd Division middle league campaign, which eventually saw them promoted to Division One.

According to Zico, the support he received from many soccer fans across the country was so overwhelming that there was no way, players of Space FC could not deliver.

“It was unbelievable to have such massive support in a tournament, and our boys were highly motivated to deliver, he said. Majority of BA United, Boafoakwa supporters were there to support us, much against the wishes of some of their management members. It was equally amazing to have many supporters from Dormaa Ahenkro, after all I went through, I’m grateful for the support, Zico stated."It's indeed a great feeling to wake up one day having your own Club having qualified into the Division One,he happily stated.

In an interview in Sunyani, Mr.Osei Bonsu also was quick to add that Space FC has not come to ensure the demise of already existing Clubs, but rather to compete and to help project the Brong Ahafo Region. He stated that he’ll use his experience in Ghana Football to help run the Club on very professional lines, which will eventually make us a force to be reckoned with in Ghana football.

Lord Zico was full of praise for the support from his brothers, Ransford Antwi and Frank Hall, both Directors of Space FC.”With them, the sky would be our limit, he said. At least, I can now concentrate on doing what I know best, without the fear of having the Club taken away from.Eventhough Space FC belongs to Space FM, my brothers have told me I can do whatever I like with it”, he said.
