MacDan Tennis Open produces new stars

The preliminary and quarter finals
of the 2014 MacDan Tennis Open produced some wonderful display of Tennis at the
Accra Sports Stadium.
As the tournament progressed, the
men are separated from the boys and 24 year old Raymond Hayford from Korle Gonno
is one of the semi finalists aiming at the 1000ghc at stake.
He said being among the top four and
still playing, the ultimate is his target. He hinted the tournament is very
good because it has saved the game in Ghana and brought out players who had
been dormant for sometime.
The Golden Rackets member promised
to overcome all opposition and every player to win the event.
Coach Henry Quansah described the
tournament as vital because the results would be used to rank players in Ghana.
he was not shocked at the splendid displays of the male and female players.
Tournament referee Abubakar Yakubu –
Leh said the players have comported themselves well and played according to
international
rules and regulations. He expressed that the MacDan Open had been successful.
The sensational Die Hard Supporters
Union has kept the courts alive with good Kpanlogo Music and it had been fun
galore during the week.
The tournament comes to an end with
the grand final on the centre court on Saturday.
