A retail store in the Kaneshie area was robbed which led to the death of two armed robbers. Many people were on edge after the incident, which happened at around 11:00 p.m., and it also sparked concerns about the rise in crime.

An eyewitness claims that just as the store was about to close, the two robbers with pistols broke in. They demanded money and valuables, threatening the store owner and a few customers.

The owner of the store silently set off an alarm that was linked to a police patrol in the area. When the police arrived on schedule, the robbers tried to flee after firing a few shots, but the officers were able to overcome them and take them into custody.

They were sent to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment, but they were declared dead upon arrival. As the police began their investigation to identify the suspects, their body was taken to the morgue.
