Okatakyie Afrifa, the host of Angel FM's morning show, has finally responded to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's loss by writing to John Dramani Mahama.

Ghanaians have voted for change, according to Okatakyie Afrifa's latest Facebook post. With humility, he conveyed his admiration for the decision made by the decent people of Ghana.

Following this, Okatakyie Afrifa congratulated John Dramani Mahama and the NDC on their victory.

Okatakyie Afrifa is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as you may already be aware. He has frequently asserted that John Dramani Mahama would not have much to offer Ghanaians if he were to win the presidency again and has repeatedly prophesied that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the 2024 elections.

This reaction comes after Ghana's former President, John Dramani Mahama, secured a historic victory in the 2024 presidential elections. Representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahama defeated Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The win marks Mahama's return to leadership after serving as president from 2012 to 2017.

In order to solve Ghana's economic difficulties, Mahama's campaign centered on renegotiating parts of the IMF bailout agreement and generating employment through a promised 24-hour economy. Voters' discontent with the current government's economic management is reflected in his return.

The victor of the 2024 elections has not yet been formally announced by the Ghanaian Electoral Commission. Nonetheless, it is well recognized from a number of sources that the NDC's John Dramani Mahama has won the elections. The percentage difference between the NDC and the NPP has not yet been disclosed by the EC.
