A video has surfaced on X showing the leader of Alive Chapel International, Bishop Salifu Amoako, criticizing Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, the Founder and Leader of Alabaster International Ministries. The video has gone viral, as Bishop Salifu responded to what he perceived as indirect insults from Prophet Oduro regarding his participation in 31st December prophecies.

In the video, Bishop Salifu stated, “I started the ministry before him; when I was prophesying, he was in school, he was a student. He is not my mate; when it comes to blessings, he is not my mate; when it comes to exposure, he is not my size. Ask him where he has traveled to. I am sure the London he went to for a short time didn’t go well, and he came back from South Africa.” He went on to accuse Prophet Oduro of insulting fellow men of God to gain attention. “In the corridors of power, who knows him? Where has he been to? Dr. Owusu Bempah is an influential prophet, a national prophet; you can’t insult him for prophesying. What he is saying, I am so disappointed in the man.”

This controversy comes as Bishop Salifu Amoako is already in the news following a tragic accident involving his son, which led to the deaths of two young girls in East Legon. During his Sunday service on October 20, 2024, he addressed the incident, saying, “It was an accident. My son did not carry a gun to go and kill somebody. My son was involved in a terrible accident. I was not the one who did it, neither was his mother.”
