In an exercise of it's Corporate Social Responsibility, KAAF University, has provided support to some 100 babies born on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025 and others on admission at St. Gregory Hospital and the Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital.

The support, which was in the form of assorted drinks, water and hampers, was part of KAAF's desire to welcome the new babies, showcasing the significance of their love and care through its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Briefing the media on January 1, 2024, after the donation exercise, the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University, Mrs. Theresah Adusei Peasah Aidoo, stated that the annual initiative has come to stay, pledging that KAAF would continue to honour its corporate social responsibility to the community.

The Pro Vice Chancellor, who is the brain behind the initiative, indicated that since KAAF focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education, there was a need to strengthen the symbiotic relationship with its publics.

Mrs. Theresah Adusei Peasah Aidoo said, "Since we train students in the areas of nursing, midwifery, and public health among others, our students mostly use the health facilities we have around for their clinicals." She underscored, "We, therefore, decided to visit some of the health facilities where our students go for their clinicals and show love to babies born on New Year's Day as well as other children on admission."

During its visit to both St. Gregory Hospital and Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital, KAAF delivered on its promise and made a profound donation of hampers, assorted drinks and water to both the New Year’s Day born babies and other children who were on admission.

Mrs Aidoo made a personal commitment to assist one malnourished child admitted to the hospital, promising to provide every necessary financial support to ensure the child receives proper care.

KAAF University, a fast-sprawling private university in Ghana, recently received a Presidential Charter from the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.

The Presidential Charter, as received, has significantly impacted the university's status as a fully-fledged private higher institution of learning, with authorisation to officially award its degrees and certificates without affiliation to any state university.
