MTN to distribute hampers to “Christmas babies”

Ghana's telecommunication giant, MTN will do a nationwide distribution of hampers to children born on the 2024 Christmas day which falls on Wednesday 25th.

The distribution of the hampers form parts of MTN’s commitment to spreading joy and making significant difference in the lives of the new mothers and their precious “Christmas babies”.

In recent years, MTN has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to celebrating children born on Christmas day with donations to welcome them.

Distributions centres

The 2024 distributions, according to MTN’s flyers, will be done simultaneously across all the 16 regions in the country.

In the greater Accra and the Ashanti regions, it will be done at the Korle Bu and the Konfo Anokye Teaching Hospitals respectively while in the Oti region, it will take place at the Dambai Regional Hospital.

In the Bono region, it will take place at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital and the Holy Family Hospital at Berekum, while the Bono East exercise would take place at the Holy Family Hospital, Techiman and Kintampo Municipal Hospital.

Goaso Municipal Hospital and the Bechem Hospital would be the beneficiary facilities for the Ahafo region, while those in the Northern Region will witness the event at both the Tamale Teaching Hospital and the Saboba Government Hospital.

Northeast’s distributions will take place at the Nalerigu Hospital and the Walewale hospital while the Damongo and the Salaga Hospitals will be the host centres for the Savanna Region.

Upper East regional distribution centres would be the Bolga Regional Hospital and the Navrongo War Memorial Hospital whereas in the Upper West, the Wa Municipal Hospital and the Jirapa Hospital will be the host centres.

In the Western Region, the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital and Essikado Hospital will be the beneficiary centres while in the Western North, it will be held at the Wiawso Government Hospital.

In the Central Region, it would take place at four different places namely - Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Trauma Specialist Hospital in Winneba, the Bawjiase Polyclinic and the Mother and Child Clinic at Kasoa.

The Eastern Regional Hospital at Koforidua will be the host facility for the Eastern Region while the Ho Teaching Hospital, Adidome Hospital and the Ho Municipal Hospital will serve the Volta Region.

The distribution will take place on the 26th December at exactly 8:00 o’clock am at the aforementioned beneficiary hospitals.

In this season of giving, MTN is showcasing their Corporate Social Responsibility with such generous donations across the country to put smiles on the faces of numerous mothers and children born on Christmas Day.
