Three important stakeholders within the Cape Coast metropolis, including the Office of the Oguaamanhen, have issued official statements urging President John Mahama to consider appointing Mr. George Justice Arthur as the Cape Coast Chief Executive Officer.

The statement issued from the Office of the Oguaamanhen was signed by the Paramount Chief of Oguaa, Osabarimba Dr. Kwesi Atta Ⅱ, on January 3, 2025, and read in part "I have known and occasionally worked with Mr. George Justice Arthur for over four years. In all these encounters, I have found him to be honest, humble, and hardworking. Mr. Arthur has associated well with fellow workers, both seniors and juniors, and his demeanor has made him accessible to all". The statement recommends him for appointment as MD for Cape Coast.

Extolling his credentials, the statement of the Cape Coast Metro Local Council of Churches was signed by Rt. Rev. Victor Reginald Atta-Baffoe, PhD, DD, Chairman of the Council, and read in part:

"Mr. George Justice Arthur is an outstanding individual with exceptional leadership qualities, integrity, and a strong passion for community development. His dedication to public service and commitment to the well-being of the people of Cape Coast Metro make him an ideal candidate for this position", the statement suggested.

Lastly, the statement of the Association Of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens And Residence (ACCCCAR) by Mr. George Justice Arthur, dated 25th December, 2025 and signed by its president, Prophet Dr. Victor Quarm, also supported his candidature for the job of Cape Coast MCE.

The statement underscored that as an association involving prominent people of the town with diverse backgrounds and political affiliations in Cape Coast, "we believe that Cape Coast has opportunities that have remained unattended to for long and it is our firm belief that Mr. George Justice Arthur possesses the requisite skills, knowledge, and passion to bring transformation to Cape Coast and set the city on the right path for a better Ghana," it stated.
