Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the founder of GN Bank, has issued a stern warning to the sitting government regarding the revoked license of his bank. In a bold statement, he declared, "If you don't give us our bank back, the next government will."

After the Bank of Ghana revoked the licenses of GN Bank and several other financial institutions in 2019, Dr. Nduom has been relentless in his pursuit to restore the banking licenses, but his efforts have been met with silence from the government.

After a demonstration staged on November 2nd, 2024, involving the good people of Elmina, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom made this statement, cautioning the Bank of Ghana to reconsider its decision and return the bank license to GN Bank to work again and serve the good people of Ghana.

Despite the challenges, Dr. Nduom remains optimistic that the next government will revisit the decision and restore the licenses. His determination to fight for his bank and the interests of his customers is admirable, and his statement serves as a reminder that the voices of stakeholders will not be silenced.

The fate of GN Bank and its customers hangs in the balance, and it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold. One thing is certain, however: Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom will continue to advocate for justice and fairness in the banking sector.
