When a fire broke out early on Friday, March 21 in the central business district of Adum, Kumasi, several people were taken into custody on suspicion of trying to steal goods from the impacted businesses.

A fire that started in the Central Business District of Adum, Kumasi, early on Friday, March 21, 2025, seriously damaged a number of stores. As they rushed to save what items they could, traders were in a panic.
