Namibia is making history and breaking barriers with its new leadership. President Cde. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has taken the oath of office, becoming the country's first female president, and she's not alone - Lucia Witbooi has been appointed as the vice president, making Namibia the first African country to have both a female president and vice president.

But that's not all - President Nandi-Ndaitwah has also sworn in a cabinet that's a game-changer for gender representation. Out of 14 ministers, eight are women, and there are seven deputy ministers. This is a significant milestone for Namibia and a step forward for women's empowerment in African politics.

This achievement is a testament to the progress Namibia has made towards gender equality and women's representation in leadership positions. It's an inspiration to women and girls across Africa and the world, showing them that they too can hold positions of power and influence.
