In a statement, the Ghana Police Service praised the public's cooperation during Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Accra during the swearing-in event for the president and vice president.

The public's understanding during the temporary road closures and traffic diversions in Accra was especially appreciated by the police, according to a press statement issued by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs.

In addition to requesting ongoing public support for their activities, the statement reaffirmed the police force's dedication to upholding law and order, security, and peace throughout the nation.

Security arrangements included strategic deployment of personnel and coordinated traffic management to ensure the event proceeded smoothly.
