By finally buying his mother a home, Shatta Wale has ended the many accusations that he neglected her.
Since Elsie Avemegah stated in 2022 that she had been evicted from her East Legon flat and hadn't seen her son in more than five years, the entire controversy surrounding Shatta Wale and his mother has been in the news.
The debate escalated in July of this year as it was reported that Shatta Wale's condition had gotten worse, leading some detractors to call her "w!cked."
Shatta Wale responded to the criticism by defending himself and mentioning the things he had done to help his mother, such as buying her four cars and renting her a home.
He also bemoaned the fact that his good efforts were frequently misinterpreted or undervalued.
Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel on December 3, 2024, Sammy Flex, the manager of Shatta Wale, disclosed that the team purchased a house for Shatta Wale’s mother in September 2024.
“In September this year, we saw that the talks were dying down, and it felt like the right time to correct what had happened. We instructed the team to start looking for a beautiful house for Shatta Wale’s mother. And they found one,” Sammy Flex stated.
