A gifted 19-year-old musician named Priscilla has received GHS 20,000 from Dancehall King Shatta Wale to help with her schooling. When Priscilla went to Shatta Wale's studio to show him a beautiful piece of handcrafted pencil art she had made, it was a touching gesture.
The musician was moved by her artistic ability and struck up a conversation with her, learning about her financial difficulties. With tears in her eyes, Priscilla disclosed that she had put her goals on wait because she lacked the money to continue her studies beyond senior high school.
Inspired by her story, Shatta Wale promised to use the GHS 20,000 gift to fund her education by offering a full scholarship to any school of her choosing. The family expressed their sincere gratitude when the musician gave the money to an adult who was thought to be Priscilla's mother in a video that his management, Sammy Flex, released.
In addition to praising Shatta Wale for his kindness and wishing him ongoing success, the family showered him with blessings and prayers.
