The Ghana function executives and the national steering committee of the Culture Forum has launched a newly rebranded website at an event held at the Accra Tourist Information Centre on November 26, 2024.
The updated website will offer a more user-friendly experience, featuring improved navigation and enhanced design to better connect visitors with GCF’s programs and initiatives.
Briefing the media on the importance of the newly rebranded website, the Chairman of the forum, Nana Otuo Owoahene Acheampong emphasized the need to have the website, Nana Otuo made it clear that the world is moving at a faster rate and in other to have easy access to the forum activities, there is the new to upgrade it visibility to to all content creators and those who find the need to join the forum.

He further announced that the forum will soon outdoor its Programmes for the next year.
UNESCO’s Programmes Officer for Culture in Ghana Mr. Carl Ampah, highlighted the importance of the Ghana Culture Forum, the role UNESCO played in its formation and admonished stakeholders of the cultural and creative industries to make good use of the website.
He outlined the website as a platform all the young people can be reached to make them understand what culture means to them, to know their identity and be proud of who they are wherever the find themselves.
Mr. Carl Ampah made it clear that the history of Africa, and all information is available, that can go on the website. African nations charged UNESCO to write Africa’s history from the point of view of Africans. All that is available, So I am hoping that once everything is settled, we can provide the links to be posted on the website,” he said.
The Ghana Culture Forum is leading organization dedicated to promoting, preserving, and celebrating Ghanaian culture. enhancing the capacity of practitioners within the cultural space, spearheading policy and advocacy work with regards to key legislations within the cultural sector and embarking on research for very important activities in the cultural and creative industries.
