Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has described performing with Jamaican dancehall legend Vybz Kartel as a career-defining moment. Speaking in an interview with JoyNews upon his return to Ghana, Shatta Wale likened the experience to winning a Grammy, emphasizing its significance to both him and his loyal Shatta Movement fanbase.
“The experience has been beautiful; this is a dream come true for Shatta Movement fans,” he said. “Everyone knows my journey as a dancehall musician, and performing with Vybz Kartel is a dream come true.”
Shatta Wale further expressed his admiration for Vybz Kartel, acknowledging the weight of the endorsement he received. “Vybz Kartel’s endorsement is equivalent to winning a Grammy for me.
