-President Akufo-Addo Commissions Flowerpot Interchange:
On November 19, 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo inaugurated the Flowerpot Interchange in Accra, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion and enhancing connectivity in the city. The interchange features an 802-meter flyover and various ramps, designed to improve travel times for commuters on key routes, including the Tema Motorway.

-Infrastructure Development Commitment:
During the ceremony, President Akufo-Addo emphasized his administration's commitment to infrastructure development, stating that more interchanges and flyovers have been constructed under his leadership than any other period in Ghana's history. He described the interchange as a legacy for future generations.

-Ongoing Construction and Future Plans
While the interchange has been commissioned, construction is still ongoing. The project is part of a broader initiative to modernize Ghana's road network and stimulate economic growth in the Greater Accra Region.
