NDC key member Precious Emperor Blade has cautioned Africa’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie after the latter made a cryptic post on social media just few days after John Naga was sworn into office.

The post which reads “Back to gari soakings” has sparked conversations among netizens with some defending him and others calling him out as hypocrite. This has triggered Precious to share his candid opinion on the issue.

He wrote:

“Dear Sarkodie,

I feel compelled to address you directly regarding your recent post. It's perplexing and frankly disappointing to see you, after a long silence during the challenging years Ghanaians endured under President Akufo-Addo, suddenly emerge with noise just six days into Mahama's tenure.

Let’s not forget the struggles and hardships that plagued our nation during those eight long years. The silence from influential figures like yourself during that time spoke volumes. Now, as Mahama takes the helm, it seems there's an eagerness to stir controversy instead of fostering unity and support for our new leadership.

This should serve as a stern warning to anyone considering undermining President Mahama. The attitude of pettiness and divisiveness will not be tolerated. We must stand together, focus on healing, and support our leaders in navigating the path ahead.

Your platform holds significant influence, and I urge you to channel that power responsibly. Let's not repeat the mistakes of the past. Instead, let’s work towards a brighter future for Ghana.

It's time for all of us to be constructive, not destructive or else live to be roasted like corn or fried like pork”.
