As part of match week 11 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Nsoatreman FC will face Aduana FC in a much-anticipated Bono derby at Nana Kronmansah Park on Saturday, November 16, 2024, with the goal of securing all three points. Despite having a solid start to the season, Yaw Preko's team has struggled lately, losing three straight games, winning one, and drawing two of their previous six.
Despite having 10 goals this season, Nsoatreman suffers defensively and is the second-highest team in terms of goals given up (13).
The "Efiri Tete Amananso" boys, who now have 11 points and are ranked 13th in the league, will depend on their strong home record. With three victories and two draws at Nana Kronmansah Park, they have transformed their home pitch into a stronghold. In contrast, Aduana FC, who defeated Karela United 1-0 in game week 10, comes into the derby with fresh confidence.
The two-time GPL champions are now two spots ahead of their hosts in 11th position on the table, but they have had a difficult time travelling, losing all three of their away games this season (two draws). The "Ogya Boys" are committed to putting a stop to their away difficulties and winning at Nsuatre in order to move up the standings.
They have defeated Aduana FC twice since Nsoatreman was promoted to the GPL, and they hope to continue that streak in this derby matchup.
