An anonymous person was taken into custody by Ghana's Parliament security for shattering the windscreens of several cars parked outside the House's perimeter.

According to witnesses, the man was discovered roaming among the parked cars on the property and smashing the windscreens with a metal weapon.

The man's motivation for the deed on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, is yet unknown.

Quick action by Parliament's security forces resulted in his immediate arrest.

He was overheard saying, "Father, have mercy on them," as he was being taken into custody. They have no idea what they're doing, Daddy. It's for your own benefit.
