A newfound sense of hope and solidarity has been brought about by the installation of Nana Yaw Sarfor Baah III as the Paramount chief by the Worawora Traditional Council in the Biakoye District of the Oti, following a ten-year wait.
Traditional rites, cultural exhibits, and the attendance of local inhabitants and traditional rulers all contributed to the installation ceremony's festivity.
During the installation, Nana Abena Sarfowaa Awerewa, the queen mother of the Worawora Traditional Council, encouraged Nana Sarfor Yaw III, the recently appointed chief, to put peace and development in the region first.
The Queen claims that without a supreme chief to lead them, the Worawora Traditional Council has encountered many difficulties over the last ten years.
She said that in order to promote peace and prosper development projects that will benefit everyone, it is now time for the populace to unite under a common leadership.
Nana Safowaa emphasized that Worawora was divided and lacked direction as a result of the lack of a paramount chief, which had created a leadership void in the region.
It is anticipated that the new chief, Nana Yaw Sarfor Baah, whose identification has been widely accepted, will close these divides and bring peace back to the community.
In order to construct a complete development plan, Nana Awerewa emphasized the value of cooperation and urged the chief to consult with a range of stakeholders, including women, youth organizations, and local companies.
People in the town are hopeful that a new age of prosperity will be ushered in by the new leadership.
It is anticipated that the paramount chief will lead efforts to improve the quality of life for Worawora's citizens, with an emphasis on infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
In an interview with Adom News, Worawora Sanahene Nana Kwaku Aborah III also called on the populace to back the new leader, emphasizing that peace and growth depend on unity.
He emphasized the value of cooperation and peace in promoting growth, pointing out that the region cannot grow with division and war.
