Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) Greater Accra Regional Chairman, has advised party members to ignore a letter that has been making the rounds on social media requesting that constituency-based names be submitted for appointments.

Ashie Moore confirmed in a statement dated December 25, 2024, that he is not aware of any such direction from the party's national leadership.

He underlined that no such move had been approved or authorized by the regional executive committee.

"The Regional Secretary has the last say on this matter and has no recourse to established party structures. Please treat the letter as seriously as it merits and dismiss it entirely," Moore said.

Ashie Moore also reassured party members that the President-Elect's transition team is making every effort to guarantee a seamless handover.

He emphasized the team's goal of completing the top ten policies that are scheduled to be implemented during the first 120 days of office.
