President-elect John Dramani Mahama has received congratulations from Speaker of the House of Representatives Alban Bagbin for his resounding win in the recently concluded election.

The former member of parliament for Nadowli Kaleo said in a statement that he was impressed by Mr. Mahama's confidence, calling it a display of bravery.

Mr. Bagbin declared, "Today, we celebrate not just a victory, but a reaffirmation of our democratic principles." "The election of John Mahama is a testament to the people's will, and I have no doubt that he will guide Ghana towards greater inclusivity and prosperity."

The Speaker also called on all Ghanaians to rally behind the newly elected President.
