The Bawumia 2024 Campaign's director of communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has denied claims that the NPP produced illegal ballots in order to rig elections, especially in the Ashanti Region, which is its stronghold.

He flatly refuted the assertions made by Joseph Yamin, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organiser, during an appearance on Joy FM's Newsfile show on Saturday, December 14.

Mr. Aboagye asserts that the alleged ballots in circulation are not genuine Electoral Commission (EC) documentation.

"The accusations Joseph Yamin is making are unfounded and without merit. Such tactics are not tolerated by the Electoral Commission's strict procedures," Mr. Aboagye said.

He clarified that the EC is the only body in charge of printing ballots, and any assertions to the contrary are meant to incite needless anxiety before the elections.

Prior to the approaching elections, Mr. Yamin had claimed that the NPP had produced 500,000 ballots in order to engage in ballot stuffing.

He asserted that this was a component of a larger plan by the ruling party to damage the voting process' legitimacy. Mr. Aboagye, however, denied these charges, calling them an effort by the opposition to undermine the government.

"Let's concentrate on the data and facts. He underlined that these accusations are baseless and that, as responsible citizens, we must oppose efforts to undermine the integrity of our democratic institutions.
