Rosemond Obeng, a former national TESCON coordinator and Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia's assistant, has said that her former boss, Dr. Bawumia, is not the best person to assist Ghana.
On GHOne's "State Affairs" program, Rosemond Obeng stated that she has worked with Dr. Bawumia for some time and can state in confidence that he lacks the courage and leadership qualities of a character leader. His method of approaching problems lacks components of critical analysis and freedom of action.
We require crucial leadership, and I am aware that my father and former boss are unable to provide it. "We get bad results, output, and performance from bad leadership," she said firmly. Exploring the widely held belief about her former boss, Rosemond claimed that Dr. Bawumia is easily manipulated and that his approach to problems lacks components of critical analysis and freedom.
She further claimed that he is easily swayed and that his approach to problems lacks boldness, toughness, and justice.
She continued by saying that her former boss had an influence on her decisions. Citing sources, she discussed how Dr. Bawumia's 2016 speech was disparaging to Ghanaians, highlighting the country's dismal economy and engaging in a game of "hide and seek" with it while serving as vice president of Ghana (2024).
In the video, Rosemond continued the discussion by saying that Dr. Bawumia is dishonest and inconsistent in his statements.
"Bawumia gave a poor performance. This time, Ghanaians would base their decision on the state of the economy," she continued.
