The fact that Ghanaians are complaining about the same issues they did during the John Dramani Mahama government has shocked actress Lydia Forson.

She finds it alarming that the country's governance appears to have remained unchanged eight years after John Dramani Mahama. In a social media post, Lydia Forson brought up the fact that the nation's future is uncertain.

“I’m genuinely in shock because we’re complaining about the same things we did 10 years ago. Are we the problem? Because how are we still complaining about the same things?”

Adding that “It’s like some of you don’t remember 2014,2015- the demonstrations, think pieces (mine included)etc. You don’t remember the pressure we mounted on Mahama. It’s hard to believe years later that we’re back here again, only this time it’s NPP in the hot seat. How did this happen?”
