Dr. Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, the Ahafo Region's Asutifi North Member of Parliament-elect, has promised that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will step up its efforts to defend the parliamentary seat in the 2028 elections.

Dr. Addo emphasized the success of the party's campaign tactics in achieving a historic victory in the 2024 elections, where the NDC claimed both the presidential and parliamentary victories for the first time in 24 years, while thanking supporters at a victory walk in Kenyasi.

Dr. Addo stressed that strategic planning and execution will be crucial to holding onto the seat, and he urged party members to start getting ready for the 2028 elections right away.

Lawal Iddrisu, the chairman of the Asutifi North NDC, emphasized the importance of harmony and a friendly connection with everyone, irrespective of party membership.

He gave supporters the assurance that the party would succeed in the upcoming election cycle by sticking to the strategies that allowed it to wrest the seat away from the NPP.
