Philis Naa Koryoo Okunor, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Member of Parliament-elect for the Awutu Senya East Constituency, has pledged to combat criminal activity in Kasoa and turn the region into a prosperous center for development and investment.

Speaking during a Kasoa Thanksgiving ceremony, Naa Koryoo promised to bring in investors to start businesses in the region, hence creating jobs for the young.

In order to improve Kasoa's reputation, she promised the locals that her administration would place a high priority on job development and economic expansion.

"My goal is to transform Kasoa by lowering crime and fostering an atmosphere that draws in investment. As a result, businesses will be established and young people will be able to find employment," she said.

In addition to creating jobs, Naa Koryoo pledged to solve the constituency's ongoing water problems in some areas.

While working toward a long-term solution to the water shortage, she disclosed intentions to give short-term relief by drilling boreholes.

"We intend to supply residents with water in the near future. It has been a significant obstacle, and my top priority is to overcome it. As we search for a long-term solution to the water situation, we will keep drilling boreholes," she promised.
