The chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK branch, Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong, also called Wofa K, has cautioned the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) government against using Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) to target its political rivals.

According to him, due process must be applied to those who have broken the law because the nation is governed by laws.

He urged the next administration to make sure that everyone who would be elected for corruption would be brought before the court so that it could decide the case.

There are laws in place to deal with the situation if they have solid proof that someone has committed corruption or activities related to corruption, not because the NDC wants to use political ploys and persecutions, and they have proof that someone has broken the law.

Following the proper protocol, they should guide the individual through the proceedings and bring them before the court so that it can decide how to proceed. They shouldn't take advantage of that to target their political rivals. They shouldn't scare their opponents by taking matters into their own hands. In an interview with Rainbow Radio, he stated that they ought to conduct due diligence and confirm the veracity of the claims.
