The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Ashanti Regional chapter has reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to ensuring that every vote counts on December 7. The party is accusing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of using intimidating techniques to increase voter indifference in the NPP stronghold in the last days before the poll.

In addition to reaffirming our unwavering commitment to a nonviolent electioneering process, we also want to make it very evident that any unpleasant tactics or intimidation will be met with strong opposition.

"We call on the military, police, and other security forces to operate and behave in a professional manner. Additionally, we implore the election officers to conduct themselves professionally and refrain from actions that could result in ballots being rejected or jeopardise any vote.

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the NPP, Dr. Francis Adomako, told the media, "To the good people of the Ashanti Region, we commit to making sure your vote counts and that nobody will be allowed to intimidate you on polling day."

Dr. Adomako urged Ashanti residents to cast their ballots in large numbers on election day. On December 07, 2024, we anticipate a huge turnout of voters. All of the crass methods are a result of the NDC's fear of that.

He called on everyone to show up so that Dr. Bawumia could win by a significant margin. Before, during, and after the voting process, the party urged all of its followers to exercise caution.

"Avoid returning home after voting if at all possible. As we did in 2016 and 2020, place yourself a fair distance away from the polling station. Protecting each polling place is essential to the impending triumph, Dr. Adomako emphasised.
