Members of the Bawumia 2024 Campaign Team have been urged by Charles Dwamena, the National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to account for the money and logistics allotted to them during the just finished campaign.

Dr. Dwamena, also known as Dr. China, stressed in a press statement released on Monday, December 30, 2024, that providing accurate accounts is essential to comprehending any campaign flaws and cannot be compromised.

He reassured members that all officers or campaign team members who received resources during the 2024 campaign will be held responsible for their use, in response to a false claim about the printing of ID cards for party officials in 2022.

Update on ID Cards for Executive Members:

More than 90% of the ID cards for executive members at all levels—from polling station to national—have been printed and given, according to Dr. Dwamena.

The remaining ten percent are waiting to be picked up by the regional secretariats at the Party Headquarters.

He also urged all eligible members to take part in the ongoing registration and ID card issue procedure for non-executive members in different constituencies.

Clarification on Party Donations and Expenditures:

All donations are transferred into Party coffers, not private accounts, Dr. Dwamena said, refuting claims of manipulation of party funds. He clarified:

Any individual cannot make decisions or spend money on their own because of the Party's structures and operating processes.

The National Chairman and General Secretary must approve expenditures before the National Treasurer may guarantee appropriate distribution.

Dr. Dwamena thanked Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and other prominent Party members for their kind donations to Party events.
